Sunday 6th September 2026
Thanks for coming. See you next year
Location New Park Farm
First Estimates suggest £7,000 raised this year ….nearly £10k total previous TWO years for Charities and Good Causes.
On Sunday 6th September 2026, at New Park Farm in Rockhampton, we had a great day of speed, excitement and spectacular creativity! The Berkeley Soapbox event brought together daring teams, homemade racing machines and plenty of competitive spirit for a thrilling ride down the track. See the results above. Many of the video’s can be found on our Facebook page, and soon we will produce a gallery from our dedicated photographer.
With no engines—just gravity, creativity and a healthy dose of courage—teams will take to the track in their homemade soapbox racers, competing for glory while raising vital funds for good causes.
Your safety is paramount to us, please follow the marshals’ instructions and stay behind the barriers.
